Coppock-Meyers Public Relations/For Your Information Communications, in Chicago and Indianapolis, has been in practice since 1988. It is the result of combination of talents between longtime publicist Jackie Meyers-Thompson and Nationally acclaimed Broadcaster Chet Coppock.
Coppock-Meyers Public Relations/For Your Information Communications (CM/FYI) specialize in public relations, promotions and special events in the sports, hospitality and entertainment industries, tying in both private and public enterprise in the creation and coordination of programming. Through our individual and collective backgrounds, we have coordinated the openings of over 100 facilities including restaurants, companies and productions. In addition, Coppock-Meyers Public Relations/For Your Information Communications has created and produced a multitude of special events for various clienteles, coordinating all aspects from planning and development to fulfillment, scheduling and the involvement of sponsorship and philanthropic tie ins.
One of our most recent Public Affairs Campaign was implemented for The Chicago Housing Authority. We have worked with the organization for the past five years, coordinating Public Awareness programs, Crisis Response activities, Media Information campaigns and Special Events. Locally, we have had the opportunity to work with the Indianapolis Housing Agency as well in the development and promotion of programs including smART FOR LIFE, offering creative initiatives to inner city youth.
In addition to these services, Coppock-Meyers Public Relations/For Your Information Communications has coordinated strategic marketing plans and programs as well as publicity for a variety of philanthropic organizations, consumer and professional services. We also work in developing creative support pieces and programs, from design of brochures and flyers to sales strategies and corporate identity pieces.
In the last years, we were honored Nationally by Women in Communications Inc. (WICI), as well as Locally by the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC), for specific Media Relations initiatives that we publicized and coordinated on behalf of Chicago Housing Authority; CREATING VIABLE COMMUNITIES, THE FLANNERY FIRE and THE LAKEFRONT IMPLOSION.
We also worked to develop and coordinate the opening of the first outdoor Midnight Basketball League court in Chicago. This featured the participation of Mayor Richard M. Daley, The Harlem Globetrotters and a host of media, sports and political figures.
Our client list has included Marriott Corporation, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Inner-City Games Foundation, Chicago Housing Authority, Indianapolis Housing Agency, Angie’s List, Frito-Lay, Payton Wells Automotive Group, Sally and Chris Gardocki of The Indianapolis Colts, Midwestern Collegiate Conference, Midnight Basketball League, Logo Athletic and Ronald McDonald House.
